The Space and Event Coordinator is the ultimate Arcadia ambassador. This role coordinates across University offices to coordinate the event management system and space usage across campus (outside of academic space reservations). This role reports directly to the Director of Arcadia Experience and must have the capacity to manage operations, scheduling, customer relation, and customize event plans. This is a hands-on position that will be involved in setup, breakdown, and minor audiovisual assistance. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week and must be available to work nights and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities Master and implement the campus space usage software (LibCal) to maximize the efficiency of scheduling campus spaces. Provide and support event planning, organization, and implementation of major University events. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external users and clients. Support events and logistics to help Event and Relations reach their goals Coordinate event and housing needs across Arcadia departments and resources (public safety, facilities, catering, AV, IT, etc.) Support multiple internal and external events, set-ups, AV support, and project coordination. Oversee the Knight mascot program coordinating schedules and calendars, processing requests, and training student workers. Support executive needs and assists in duties as assigned. Required Knowledge and Abilities Must have a love for Arcadia University and engage with compelling stories on the history and beauty of its campus. Technically proficient across multiple platforms. Produce digital assets, photos, videos, posts, and promotional materials. Must be able to carry and move up to 20 pounds. Job includes knowledge of housekeeping, customer service, work-study training, and VIP guest experience. Ability to work nights and weekends. Knowledge of Arcadia's campus and specifically Grey Towers Castle Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Minimum of two years related experience or internship Strong communication skills and professional decorum Able to work independently and exercise solid judgment Comfort with information technology Customer service experience.

This position will supervise student workers.
