Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, nontenure track faculty position in the Physician Assistant Program at the Christiana campus in Newark, DE. As a principal faculty position, the Academic Coordinator is instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the physician Assistant Program and the education of its students. Arcadia's College of Health Sciences (CHS) houses the University's Community and Global Public Health Program, Genetic Counseling, Health Education, Medical Science (Physician Assistant Studies), and Physical Therapy programs. Through evidence-based practice and project-based learning, these programs prepare healthcare professionals for success in a rapidly changing global environment, with applied and pro bono clinical thesis work, clinical rotations, international fieldwork, and multicultural assessment. Graduates of Arcadia's CHS programs are at the forefront of their respective fields and employed with leading health organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, revise, and coordinate didactic course curriculum
- Instruct didactic and clinical year students
- Develop and evaluate didactic year student assessments
- Develop, maintain, and mentor adjunct instructors
- Participate in committees at the department and university levels
- Mentor and advise physician assistant students
- Participate in the evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the Program in meeting its mission.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Adept interpersonal and communication skills Skillful problem solving capabilities
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree is required; doctorate degree or willingness to pursue a doctorate degree is preferred
- At least three years of clinical experience
- NCCPA certification
