Job Description: The Hybrid Program Support Specialist is responsible for the overall administrative support of the physical therapy program.
Location: Glenside
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with Program Director Hybrid DPT, DPT Program Director and DPT Program Manager in all aspects of implementation of the program.
- Coordinate and communicate with students, faculty and associated faculty.
- Coordinate and communicate with Hybrid and Residential Program Support specialists.
- Create and maintain processes to assist with management and assessment of DPT program.
- Manage learning management systems
- Set up and manipulate media between learning platforms
- Hybrid student point of contact
- Support and maintain documents for program administration and accreditation
- Document meeting minutes
Marginal Functions: - Post student announcements
- Maintain Communication database
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of previous professional experience working in an academic or high-level administrative office
- Strong PC skills including demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, and other curriculum-related software
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, superior judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, and strong organizational aptitude
- Previous office experience and ability to work as a committed team member with a willingness to help out where and when needed
- Must possess mature judgment, professional demeanor and appearance, and possess cross-cultural sensitivity
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently
- Candidate must also be very detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and to work efficiently and accurately within deadlines
- Must be a self-starter; possess a positive working attitude, excellent prioritization, problem-solving and decision-making skills; confidentiality, tact, patience, willingness to help and diplomacy are critical features of this position
- Ability to move about campus and other locations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Physical ability to include standing and/or walking for long periods, bending, kneeling and stooping, manual dexterity, and ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office applications and Google applications.
- Skilled user of educational platforms and learning management systems as well as ability to apply those skills to new technology as needed.
